McWhorter Family

David and Andrea McWhorter are both Native Phoenicians and have been married since 2006 and have 2 children. We plunged into the American dream of business ownership in January 2011 and purchased Vital Care Rehabilitation, LLC. Andrea has been working at Vital Care Rehabilitation as the clinical director since 2008. Our goal is to provide a positive, motivational, and healing environment for our patients and staff while growing Vital Care Rehabilitation, LLC to its optimal potential. While striving for success in our business we also strive for maintaining balance in our lives between business and family.


Andrea PT, DPT(American Institute of Balance Certified)

Andrea McWhorter graduated from Grand Canyon University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology with a minor in Exercise Science in 1998, and then proceeded to Northern Arizona University where she completed her Clinical Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy in 2002. She has been providing quality outpatient orthopedic physical therapy in the West Valley for 9 years.


Clark

A. Clark Ruttinger, D.O. is the medical director for Vital Care Rehabilitation, L.L.C. Dr. Ruttinger graduated from medical school at the University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City Missouri in 1985 and finished his residency at Oklahoma State University college of Osteopathic Medicine in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1990. He then practiced medicine in the US. Army serving in Operation Desert Storm, Operation Joint Endeavor, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Operation Enduring Freedom. Dr. Ruttinger has been caring for patients as a geriatric specialist in his own family practice established in 2001 in Sun City West, Arizona and now Surprise, Arizona. Dr. Ruttinger’s role as the Medical Director of Vital Care Rehabilitation is to review patient files, consult, and assist the rehabilitation team including the physical therapist and licensed clinical social worker in providing optimal care and treatment plans.


Timothy (American Institute of Balance Certified)

A native to Arizona, Timothy Saul II has been working in the physical therapy field since 2007. After 3.5 years of working as a Physical Therapist Technician, Tim decided to go back to school for PTA and become more closely involved in the care and treatment of individuals looking to improve their quality of life. Tim is able to help patients achieve optimal results by utilizing his skills in physical therapy and his compassion for people.


David

David has worked in the Marketing and advertising field in Arizona for 10 years and then practiced real estate in the West Valley for 7 years. His experience in marketing, advertising and real estate has prepared him for his position as the marketing and administration director of Vital Care Rehabilitation.
